- Technically, you're right; the modems can't be modified to 14.4. However, as
- Anthony Hill pointed out, owners of 9600 bps and faster Courier modems were
- offered a trade-in. There's also the chance that the author was wondering
- about the V.32terbo (19200 bps) to V.FC/V.34 upgrade via the daughterboard
- swap.
